1.  Why is the US health care market referred to as “imperfect?”

2. List and describe the two main objectives of a health care delivery system? 

3. List and describe two sectors you believe spends the most money in health care? (Example sectors; hospital care, home health care, governmental insurance, pharmaceuticals, etc.) 

4. Giving the aging population and upcoming changes in health policy (such as federal prescription drug plans for seniors/elderly), identify one sector that may be most affected by the changes in health policy and explain your reasoning. 

5. What implications does early childhood development have for healthcare delivery? 

6. Discuss the significance of an individual’s quality of life from the health delivery perspective.
