Now, it’s your turn to practice using MLA format. Your assignment is to create a template for the first page of an essay and a works cited page formatted in MLA style. You may use this template over the course of the semester to help you format all of your major writing assignments. Please include your personal information in this assignment and not the information that you see in the tutorial video.

1. The first page of your template should include all of the components that I cover in the tutorial video. You may simply use the word Title in the place where the actual title of the essay should go. This word should be typed in regular 12pt. Times New Roman font. It should neither be italicized nor bolded, and it should not go inside quotation marks. Be sure that your template has 1 inch margins on all sides and includes all appropriate headers. All text should be typed in 12pt. Times New Roman font.
2. Your works cited page should have 1 inch margins on all sides. All text should be typed in 12pt. Times New Roman font. It should be titled Work Cited because you will only include one source text on this page.This heading should be typed in regular 12pt. Times New Roman font. It should neither be italicized nor bolded, and it should not go inside quotation marks. Please cite your textbook as your source text. For the purposes of this assignment, you may consider your textbook to be an “Edition of a Book.”
