The United States Constitution establishes a separation of powers among the executive judicial, and legislative branches of government.” Therefore, because the U.S Supreme happens to supreme law when it comes to education within the nation, the states authority must be carried out with consistency with the provisions. Looking at it on a federal level their hands are tied to what they can and can’t do and it’s basically in the congress control especially with the use of federal aid.
So, as you see here it seems that federal pretty much handles the funding aspects and the state carries out any decisions pertaining to education.
