FINAL Paper- Marijuana as a Sleep Aid

(The Final Paper should address a current controversy or argument in clinical psychopharmacology.)

Your Final Paper should incorporate any feedback you received in-residence on your poster presentation. The Final Paper should be a minimum of 15 pages in length, not including the title page, abstract, or references. The Final Paper should include approximately 20 references.

The Final Paper should:

•Address at least two specific points of view or sets of arguments related to the subject of your paper

•For each set of arguments or perspectives described, include the historical evolution of the argument, as well as any empirical evidence that supports the argument

•Identify and address issues related to the arguments or perspectives such as clinical issues, public health issues, and sociocultural issues

Include suggestions for any future research that might help resolve the controversy

Include your own conclusion, supporting one of the perspectives presented in the paper

The paper must follow APA Publication Manual guidelines and be free of typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors.

As you conduct your literature review, search for information that addresses the following:

•What are the arguments/perspectives related to your topic and how have they evolved historically?

•What is the empirical evidence that supports these arguments/perspectives?

•How might findings related to your topic impact the future of your profession and clinical psychopharmacology in general?Support every statement or assertion you make in a scholarly research paper with a reference. Be cautious when stating your opinion or when using terms suggesting absolute facts or values, as you must support these with references.

Your references should be primary sources, and peer-reviewed journal articles should comprise approximately 90% of the references. If referring to a book, be sure to include all information in APA style, including specific page numbers. Note that an article referred to in a book is a secondary source.
