Closing the loop | Education homework help

This will be a add-on to the attached paper!! So please use information that complements the work already done!!

Still keeping in mind that you will be proposing this plan to a decision-maker who will consider whether to implement your plan, you will develop three additional components of your Assessment of Learning Plan:

  1. The final component of the assessment cycle, “Closing the Loop,” in which you will explain how the assessment data will be used to improve the teaching/learning process of the program, department, or institution, and provide accountability to accreditors or other stakeholders.
  2. The components that describe the stakeholders and their roles in the assessment effort.
  3. Strategies to create a culture that supports assessment in your program or institution.

Each of these sections will be followed by an academic argument that explains the reasons—your rationale—for the decisions you made in each section of the proposed plan. Your explanations must be well supported by the assessment literature. To make a persuasive academic argument for each of your sections, you will establish your credibility by using and citing scholarly sources.

Instructions

Please note: This is the second part of your scholarly paper. The components you design for this assignment immediately follow the components you created in The Plan which is ATTACHED!!! Therefore, do not write an introduction.

Construct the following components of your Assessment of Learning Plan to assess the learning outcomes of students or trainees in a specific learning situation and the rationale for the decisions you make for each of the components.

Use and cite the readings to support your claims in the academic argument sections. Provide a list of references from the readings that you use. Be sure to apply the submission requirements described below.

  1. Closing the Loop: Under the heading, “Closing the Loop,” explain how assessment data will be used to improve the teaching/learning process. Explain how the assessment plan connects to the larger context of the effectiveness of the program, department, or institution, including how the assessment plan will contribute to accountability (such as accreditation), either directly or indirectly. Then, under the sub-heading “Academic Argument for Closing the Loop,” present a rationale for your decisions, using and citing the readings.
  2. Stakeholders: Under the heading “Stakeholders,” identify both the internal and external stakeholders and describe their roles in the assessment effort. Then, under the sub-heading “Academic Argument for Stakeholders,” present a rationale for the inclusion of each group of stakeholders in the assessment process, including at what stage of the process they will be involved, what they will contribute, and why. Support your academic argument by presenting evidence from the literature.
  3. Culture of Assessment: Under the heading “Culture of Assessment,” explain the strategies you will use to create a culture that supports assessment in the department or institution. Under the sub-heading “Academic Argument for Culture of Assessment,” present an academic argument for the strategies you will use, presenting evidence from the literature.
  4. Conclusion: Write a summary of the key components of your Assessment of Learning Plan, underscoring the value and purpose of assessment.

It is essential that you provide evidence from the assessment literature to support your decisions for each section of your scholarly paper; do not make assumptions that cannot be supported by credible sources.
