Navigation Instructions

Open the Allied Health Community media application and click “Enter.”
 You will then be brought to a screen with three options (Scenarios,  Profiles, Timelines) for this course you will click on “Scenarios.”
 You will see a number of different scenarios for this class. Scroll down  and click into “Leadership in Health Care.” Close instructions dialogue box.
On the map, you will see a number of different buildings. Hover your cursor over the buildings to see the pop-out label and choose a  building that matches the assignment. 

For this week you will locate and click into the “Home Care” on the right side of the back of the map.  Select the green “I” icon.  You will see one Home Care scenario pull up,  please click on it and choose to Download Full Scenario.

Assignment Instructions

Access the “Allied Health Community.”  Read the Home Care scenario for this course and complete the following assignment:

Write a 1,000-1,250-word paper that identifies the steps associated with making decisions within in health care. 

1. What types of conflict were present among the employees in the home health company?
2. What would have been the best decision-making model to use in this case study, why?
3. How would you use negotiation models to resolve conflict in this situation?

Include at least two peer-reviewed scholarly sources.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style  Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
