The purpose of this paper is to think about various parts of city life and then offer an explanation of what is occurring. Part one of your paper: You should select a few choice locations around the Denver metro area (e.g. the city, suburbs, exurbs) to discuss.  Due to the COVID-19 threat, you should not make in-person observations.  However, you should explain in detail human interaction you remember taking place in each context.  Basically, this part of paper is where you explain what these areas are like socially, in your own words.  

Part two of your paper: use theory and course material to offer explanations as to why people are interacting in the ways that they do. Thus, good papers will demonstrate their understanding of the course concepts as they connect the concepts to their observations. As you bring up the course concepts in your paper, please bold them.
