THE ESSAY SHOULD INCLUDE INFORMATION BELOW:

1. Background information of the labor market policy under discussion. This could include the general labor market situation of the country in which the policy is implemented, its origins, the reasons for implementing the policy, how long the policy has been in place, enforcement agencies, implementation issues, etc.

2. Provide a review of the existing research on the impact or consequences of the labor market policy / regulation, discuss their findings, including whether there is a consensus or it is still under debate, what are the major similarities or differences in their findings; if possible, further explore the reasons for the different findings so you will be able to better comprehend and interpret the results.

3. Present your own view on the short-term or long-term effect of the labor market policy. You can draw on the analytical tools that you learned from the class, you can explain why your stance is closer to some of the studies while not the others, you can also refer to some real-world examples to further strengthen your points.

You must include a full, detailed bibliography of your sources at the end of your essay. (I already uploaded some articles you can use, of course you can add more)

You should also cite the source of factual information (from secondary sources) presented in the main body of the essay.
